Se si utilizza un dispositivo automatico, si raccomanda che il medico abbia precedentemente letto le istruzioni d‘uso del dispositivo di iniezione e che sia addestrato al suo utilizzo. Dopo l‘uso, gettare la siringa e il prodotto residuo. Non risterilizzare e non riutilizzare, a causa dei rischi associati a tali pratiche, comprese le infezioni. Il paziente deve evitare di applicare il trucco per almeno 12 ore dopo il trattamento e deve evitare saune e bagni turchi nonché un‘esposizione prolungata al sole o ai raggi UV per 2 settimane dopo il trattamento. I pazienti devono anche evitare di esercitare pressione e/o manipolare l‘area del viso trattata. Incompatibilità Lo ialuronato di sodio precipita in presenza di sali ammonici quaternari (quale il cloruro di benzalconio). È consigliabile quindi che il prodotto non entri in contatto con tali sostanze. Effetti collaterali Poiché potrebbero manifestarsi effetti collaterali, il medico deve informarne il paziente, prima del trattamento. Durante l‘iniezione potrebbe verificarsi un leggero sanguinamento che dovrebbe comunque scomparire spontaneamente al termine dell‘iniezione. In alcuni casi, subito dopo l‘iniezione o come reazione tardiva, potrebbero manifestarsi una o più delle seguenti reazioni (elenco non esaustivo): • reazioni solitamente associate all‘iniezione come arrossamento, eritema, edema o dolore, a volte accompagnate da prurito nell‘area trattata. Queste reazioni possono durare una settimana; - ematomi nell‘area trattata; - tumefazione nell‘area trattata; - indurimenti o noduli nell‘area trattata; - alterazioni del colore della pelle nell‘area trattata; - allergia a uno o più componenti del prodotto, in particolare allo ialuronato di sodio; - in letteratura sono stati riportati casi di necrosi, ascessi e granulomi dopo iniezioni di ialuronato di sodio. Tali rischi potenziali, benché rari, devono essere tenuti in considerazione.
